This Agreement is between Joyful Learning Center Ltd. and the Family and is
reviewed annually. If there are any changes, an updated agreement will be
provided to the Family. Families will be notified in writing a minimum of two
weeks in advance.
Contract Effective Date:

This contract is between (herein called the
Family) and Joyful Learning Center Ltd.
Services will be provided by Joyful Learning Center Ltd. for the following
child(ren):

Hours of Operation for After School: 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Hours of Operation for Day Camp: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Contracted Days: (Circle days required, at least 3 days):
Reservation Fee:
Parents will pay a Reservation Fee $300 prior to the child's
start date and due on the day this Agreement is signed. The amount will be
credited toward the final month of the Joyful after-school program. The
Reservation Fee is non-refundable if Families decide not to bring their child after
this agreement has been made.
Reservation Fee Paid on:
Amount: $ 300 *Must be applied to final month’s fees
After School Daily Fee (General): $ 25 / session
After School Daily Fee (General) - 3 days at least: $ 28 / session
Class Fee (Art / Clay / English / Robotics / Math / Mandarin): $15 / session，
The discounted price of $14 per session is available only to after-school
members who book before June 5, 2026.
Class Fee (VEX IQ ): $30 / session (1.5h)
Teacher recommendation is required.
Day Camp Daily Fee: $65
The discounted price of $59 is available only to after-school members who apply
before the 25th of each month. Fees are subject to review and change. Parents
will be informed 4-week's in advance.
Invoices are issued on the 25th of each month. Cancellations must be made
before invoicing. No refunds after invoicing. No prorated refunds will be given for
any camp days that are missed due to illness or vacation.

Late Payments:
A late payment of $15 per day will be charged for fees not paid
by the first day of each month. This late payment fee must be paid at the same
time as the next monthly fee in order to bring the account into balance. If the
outstanding balance remains unpaid for one week, Joyful Learning Center will
contact the family regarding the matter.
Late Pick-Up:
A late pick-up fee is $5 from 5:30-6:00pm for each day. After
6:00pm you will be charged $15 per half hour. This late pick-up fee must be paid
at the same time as the next monthly fee.
Sick Days:
Families are responsible for paying regular fees on a scheduled day if your child
must stay home due to illness, unless an official medical statement issued by a
doctor is provided.
Snow Days:
On regularly scheduled ASP days, all regular fees and class fees remain
payable regardless of attendance. This includes, but is not limited to: school
closures due to weather, families choosing to keep children at home due to
weather conditions, and weather-related closures of Joyful Learning Center.
No refunds, credits, or make-up days will be provided for absences or closures
caused by weather.
Holidays:
Joyful Learning Center is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day,
Family Day (February), Good Friday, Canada Day, Labour Day, Christmas Day.
**If any of these days fall on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be closed on the
Monday immediately following the weekend.**
Termination:
Families agree to provide 4 weeks' written notice of their intent to terminate this
agreement, including class participation. Commencing on the first Monday after
written notice is received. Fees are due as normal during the notice period.
The Family is responsible for paying for these weeks as long as care is provided.
If the Family finds alternate care before the end of the termination period,
they are released from this agreement. If notice is not given or the child is not
in attendance during the final weeks after notice is given, the final fees are still due. If Families are in compliance with the Handbook of Policies and
Procedures, the Provider will issue a credit using the paid Reservation Fee.
A non-refundable Reservation Fee $300 is due upon confirmation of
registration. This deposit will go toward the final month’s tuition.
Joyful Learning Center reserves the right to issue an immediate
termination of this contract based on individual situations or
circumstances, such as lack of compliance with the Parent Handbook,
disregard for payment policies, disrespect, physical or verbal abuse of
any person or property on the premises, serious illness of the Provider or
the Provider's family member, or false information given by the parent.
Emergencies:
Power outage: Families are required to pick up their children from Joyful
Learning Center if the power remains out for longer than three (3) hours.
School closures: If applicable, contact Joyful Learning Center to confirm they
can pick up your child(ren) when the school closes during the day. Joyful
Learning Center may not always be available due to other circumstances.
Fire:
There are fire extinguishers located in Joyful Learning Center, strategically
placed for convenient accessibility. If there is a fire that cannot be extinguished
quickly, the children will be evacuated immediately before calling 911.
Acknowledgments:
** Family agrees to comply with all policies in the Parent Handbook and
Agreement.
** Family agrees to pay all fees associated with any collection of unpaid debt.
** Family acknowledges that a lack of enforcement of a Policy by the Provider
does not mean that the Policy is no longer in effect.
** Joyful Learning Center will give the parent a 4-week's notice of any fee or
policy change.
This agreement contains the entire understanding between both parties and
supersedes any prior understandings and/or written or oral agreements between
them. Any agreement hereafter shall not change nor terminate this agreement,
unless it is in writing and signed by both parties.
By signing this agreement, I agree to comply with all the terms set forth in this
Agreement. I understand this is a legally binding contract between all parties
signed below.
